Prenatal Massage in Newport Beach: Safe, Nurturing, and Designed for You
You're not looking for a spa day. You're looking for someone who truly understands your changing body — and knows exactly how to help it feel better.
Pregnancy is one of the most physically demanding experiences a body can go through. Back pain that won't quit. Swollen ankles. Hips that ache through the night. A nervous system that's been running on high for months. And on top of all of it, the weight of knowing that what happens to your body right now matters more than ever.
Victoria Dolidze, Licensed Massage Therapist and founder of Health and Healing Oasis, has worked with expecting mothers through every trimester — and she brings the same care, precision, and warmth to every prenatal session that she brings to every client she serves. This is prenatal massage Newport Beach expecting mothers can trust: thoughtful, therapeutic, and completely centered on you.
WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT
Not All Massage Is Safe During Pregnancy. Not All Therapists Are Trained for It.
Prenatal massage is not simply a regular massage with a pillow added. The positioning is different. The pressure points are different. The areas that need to be avoided — and the areas that desperately need attention — are entirely different from a standard session.
An untrained or underprepared therapist working on a pregnant body can cause real discomfort, miss what actually needs relief, or worse, apply pressure in areas that are contraindicated during pregnancy. This is why who you choose matters as much as what you book.
Victoria brings years of hands-on experience working with expecting mothers across all three trimesters. She understands the physiological changes happening in your body — the shift in your center of gravity, the loosening of ligaments, the increased blood volume, the pressure on your sciatic nerve, the emotional weight that comes with carrying a new life. She doesn't guess. She listens, assesses, and adapts every session to exactly where you are right now.

WHAT WE WORK ON TOGETHER
Your Body Is Carrying a Lot Right Now. Let's Address What's Actually Bothering You.
Every prenatal session begins with a conversation. Victoria wants to know where you're hurting, what's keeping you up at night, and what you need most from today's session. Then she gets to work — specifically, therapeutically, and with your comfort and safety as the constant priority.
Lower Back & Sciatic Pain
The extra weight and postural shifts of pregnancy put enormous strain on your lower back and can compress the sciatic nerve. Victoria uses targeted techniques to release the surrounding musculature, ease nerve pressure, and restore mobility — without putting any stress on your belly or your baby.
Swelling in Legs, Ankles & Feet
Edema is one of the most common and uncomfortable pregnancy complaints. Gentle, specific strokes help stimulate lymphatic flow and reduce fluid retention in the lower extremities, so you can walk, sleep, and move more comfortably.
Hip & Pelvic Tension
As your pelvis shifts and your ligaments loosen in preparation for birth, hip tension and pelvic discomfort can become constant companions. Victoria works carefully through the hip flexors, glutes, and surrounding tissue to restore ease and reduce that deep, grinding ache.
Shoulder, Neck & Upper Back Tension
Postural changes, breast tenderness, and the emotional weight of pregnancy all accumulate in the upper body. Victoria addresses the neck, shoulders, and upper back with a pressure and approach calibrated to your trimester and your comfort level.
Sleep & Nervous System Support
When your body can't get comfortable and your mind won't slow down, sleep becomes a distant memory. Prenatal massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system — your body's rest-and-digest response — helping you genuinely unwind, not just relax for an hour.
Emotional Safety & Presence
Pregnancy is an emotionally layered experience. Victoria creates a session environment where you feel completely safe, unhurried, and cared for — not just as a body on a table, but as a whole person navigating something profound.
SAFETY FIRST, ALWAYS
Here's Exactly How Victoria Keeps You and Your Baby Safe
Safety is not a checkbox at Health and Healing Oasis — it is the foundation every prenatal session is built on. Before anything else, Victoria takes the time to understand your full health picture, your trimester, and any conditions or concerns your OB or midwife has flagged.
Positioning & Support
Victoria uses specialized bolstering and side-lying positioning designed specifically for pregnant bodies. You will never be asked to lie flat on your stomach. Every position is chosen for your comfort, your safety, and the wellbeing of your baby.
Trimester Considerations
Each trimester brings different physical realities and different therapeutic priorities. First trimester sessions are gentler and shorter when appropriate. Second and third trimester sessions address the specific discomforts that intensify as your pregnancy progresses. Victoria adjusts her approach based on where you are today — not a generic protocol.
Pressure & Technique Calibration
Prenatal massage requires a different touch than standard therapeutic massage. Victoria uses carefully modulated pressure, avoids deep work in contraindicated areas, and checks in with you throughout the session to ensure everything feels right.
Contraindication Awareness
Certain conditions — including high-risk pregnancy, preeclampsia, placenta previa, blood clotting disorders, and others — require medical clearance or may make massage inadvisable. Victoria will ask about your health history before your first session and will always defer to your OB or midwife's guidance. Your safety is non-negotiable.
Intake Consultation
Every new prenatal client completes a thorough health intake before the first session. This is not a formality — it is how Victoria learns what your body needs and what it needs her to avoid.
If you have any questions about whether prenatal massage is appropriate for your specific situation, please reach out before booking. Victoria is always happy to speak with you directly.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
From the Moment You Walk In, You're in Good Hands
Here's what a prenatal session at Health and Healing Oasis looks like — start to finish.
Your Intake Consultation
Before the session begins, Victoria sits down with you to review your health history, your current trimester, any discomforts you're experiencing, and any guidance your OB or midwife has provided. This is where she learns what your body needs most today.
A Space Designed for Calm
The session environment is quiet, warm, and completely private. The table is set up with proper bolstering before you arrive. The lighting is soft. The room is designed to help your nervous system begin to settle before Victoria even begins.
The Session Itself
Victoria works at a pace and pressure calibrated to your needs. She checks in with you throughout — not just at the beginning — because your comfort can shift, and she wants to know. You are always in control of what happens in the session.
Closing & Aftercare Guidance
At the end of your session, Victoria takes a moment to share what she noticed, what she worked on, and any self-care recommendations for the days ahead — whether that's hydration, gentle stretching, or a follow-up frequency that makes sense for your trimester.
Ongoing Support
Many of Victoria's prenatal clients return every two to four weeks throughout their pregnancy. She tracks what's changed, adjusts her approach accordingly, and becomes a consistent source of relief and support through every stage of your pregnancy — and beyond.
WHY IT HELPS
The Real Benefits of Prenatal Massage — Physical, Emotional, and Everything In Between
Physical Relief You Can Feel
Reduced back pain. Less swelling. Easier movement. Better sleep. These are not vague promises — they are the consistent outcomes Victoria's clients report after regular prenatal sessions. When the body is carrying more than it was built to carry at once, targeted therapeutic work makes a measurable difference.
A Calmer Nervous System
Pregnancy keeps the nervous system on high alert. Prenatal massage activates the parasympathetic response — the branch of your nervous system responsible for rest, digestion, and recovery. Cortisol drops. Serotonin and dopamine rise. Your body remembers what it feels like to be at ease.
Emotional Support That Matters
Pregnancy is beautiful and it is also hard. There are days when your body feels foreign, your emotions feel overwhelming, and you just need an hour where someone is completely focused on taking care of you. Victoria's sessions provide that — a quiet, safe, nurturing space where you don't have to manage anything or anyone.
